A curated selection of Mina's best works

Visual Art: Still Life Watercolour Painting

Here we showcase one of Mina's proudest achievements — her still life watercolour painting. While she humbly acknowledges there is always room for improvement, particularly in the shading of the mug, she is very pleased with the overall result. Mina's deep passion for art is evident in her exploration of various techniques, always striving to develop her skill. Throughout her sessions, she remains highly engaged and continues to demonstrate remarkable creativity and dedication to her craft.

Storywriting: A Descriptive Piece Inspired by Hogwarts

Mina’s talent for descriptive writing shines through in this piece, which was created during a story-writing session. The activity required her to describe an image — in this case, the library at Hogwarts — using all five senses. As a true book lover, both the image and the activity resonated deeply with her. Mina’s ability to immerse herself in the literary world is truly magical, bringing the scene to life in a unique and thoughtful way.

Here’s her writing:

I love this place. It is a haven for me. It is from one of my favourite books. I hear the comforting sound of pages turning and people whispering. I feel so warm and cosy. I smell the aroma of ancient paper. It just feels so...magical. The arches are grand and tall. The glow of the lamp is cosy and bright. When I look around, I see something grand, tall, and worthy of magic.

Podcast: An Interview with Amrita from Hindustan Trading Company

At just 8 years old, Mina took the lead on creating her own podcast episode. She came up with the topic, wrote the script, came up with thoughtful questions, conducted the interview, recorded, edited, and published the podcast with her facilitator's support! In this episode, she interviews Amrita from Hindustan Trading Company, demonstrating not only her curiosity but also her initiative and technical skills. Truly impressive!
